WANTED: Student Services Coordinator

We are seeking a Student Services Coordinator to provide superior support from admissions through graduation to our online MBA students.  Meta Business School (MBS) was established in California in 2010 and has a diverse student population around the world. The mission of MBS is to offer a dynamic learning environment addressing the business, economic, and social issues of global commerce with an emphasis on conducting business and establishing strategic alliances in Asian and Western cultures. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with admissions, enrollment, registration, and transcript processing
  • Support with new student orientation
  • Maintain accurate student records
  • Assist with student progress monitoring and course evaluation surveys
  • Communicate with students in a professional and timely manner
  • Support instructor with course needs
  • Coordinate with appropriate colleagues to resolve any student disputes 
  • Adhere to all school policies, including student confidentiality policies
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in school processes
  • Demonstrate integrity and student-centered approach in all aspects of work
  • Other duties, as assigned

 Qualifications:

  • Superior customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience working in higher education preferred
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Working knowledge of basic software, e.g., Word

Compensation: Depending on education and experience
