Partnership Offers Training Opportunities to Keep Nurses on the Leading Edge of Health Care
While Equipping Students for Success
GLENDALE, Calif.—The Marsha Fuerst School of Nursing at Glendale Career College (GCC) recently
announced a new clinical partnership opportunity with Adventist Health Glendale to provide clinical
coaching for the hospital’s nurses.
“We’re incredibly excited about this opportunity to work more closely with Adventist Health Glendale,”
explained Dr. Gloria Blatti, GCC’s Executive Dean of Nursing. “We are joining together to help train
clinical coaches, and in this capacity these clinical coaches will serve as clinical instructors for our
students. Then these clinical coaches will have the opportunity to advance their education and nursing
career.”
These clinical coaches will participate in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program to further
advance their nursing career. The program is also available to individuals at Adventist Health Glendale
who want to become Registered Nurses and are currently serving in a Certified Nursing Assistant or
similar position. It is also open to hospital staff who are already nurses, but are hoping to earn their
Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
