SAN MARCOS, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2021) – Pima Medical Institute continues to show its commitment to the communities it serves with a new veterinary assistant program launching at Twin Oaks High School, one of the high schools in the San Marcos Unified School District.
Aimed at providing students with a clear pathway from high school to higher education, this program will create an opportunity for graduates to transfer credits into Pima Medical Institute’s veterinary sciences programs. However, it is not only aimed at students whose path includes continued education. This program will provide the quality education Pima Medical Institute is known for. That means students who successfully complete this program can also enter the workforce more quickly.
“This partnership is a prime example of private/public educational partnerships benefiting students and saving taxpayers money,” said Fred Freedman, Pima Medical Institute CEO. “Twin Oaks’ incredible students have the focus and determination to prepare in High School for options upon graduation. With the support and vision of Principal Garth Phillips and the staff at Pima Medical Institute, students can reach their career goals with relative ease.”
