The University of Pennsylvania’s stare down with President Trump over its pro-transgender mission didn’t last long. This month, the Ivy League school announced it will no longer allow men to compete in women’s sports after the Trump administration withheld $175 million of federal funding for violating Title IX, which prohibits sex-based discrimination.
While the Trump administration holding UPenn (and other schools) accountable is a major victory for families, policing every college campus is a game of whack-a-mole. We need to treat the disease itself, not just the symptoms.
